Day 1 (Tuesday)                    ARRIVE MADRID
Arrive at Madrid airport and transfer to your hotel, your day is free Accommodation. Perhaps book an optional evening Tapas Tour or Prado “Skip the Line” Afternoon Tour.
Day 2 (Wednesday)               MADRID
This morning after breakfast enjoy a Madrid city tour; discover the medieval origins of the city such as the Arabic fortress at the Barrio de la Morería and drive through the courtesan district of the Hapsburgs characterised by Phillip II and his Renaissance and Baroque style buildings. Visit Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and Plaza de la Villa and the complex town planning schemes of Charles III. Stop and visit the interior of the Royal Palace before also admiring the 19th century works of the Prado Museum. This tour will also include contemporary Madrid with areas such as Gran Vía, Castellana, the district of Salamanca, Plaza Castilla and Parque del Oeste; as well as the commercial and financial areas such as Las Ventas Bullring and the Santiago Bernabéu Football Stadium. Next, walk to a traditional Spanish restaurant to savour the delicious flavours of “Paella”. Afternoon at leisure. Accommodation.
Day 3 (Thursday)                   MADRID / CORDOBA / SEVILLE
After breakfast transfer to Julia Travel bus terminal (Plaza de Oriente), depart at 8.30am. Drive southward through La Mancha (Don Quixote country) to Cordoba, one of the oldest and most historic cities in Spain. Enjoy a Cordoba sightseeing tour including a visit to the magnificent 8th century Mezquita/Mosque/Cathedral and the historic Jewish quarter, with its narrow winding streets, decorated courtyards and patios of flowers. Continue to Seville, a wonderful city, and regarded by some as the romantic capital of Andalucía. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 4 (Friday)                        SEVILLE
Today, after breakfast take a Panoramic city tour including the Cathedral (outside only), Santa Cruz Quarter, Maria Luisa Gardens and Plaza Espana. The afternoon is at leisure to explore the city, perhaps take a river cruise along the Guadalquir or a visit to the pseudo reconstruction of Pontius Pilates House (Casa de Pilatos), which began in the 16th century, and presents an interesting blend of Mudejar, gothic and renaissance styles with its beautiful patio and gallery, elegant fountain and ornamental Minerva statues. Dinner and accommodation. Optional Artistic Excursion: Flamenco tour.
Day 5 (Saturday)                    SEVILLE / RONDA / COSTA DEL SOL
Following breakfast, travel the route of the white villages including a stopover in Ronda, located over a deep ravine cut into rock. Enjoy time on your own to admire this town of Celtic origin and the marvellous view of the valley and mountain range. In the afternoon continue to the Costa del Sol. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 6 (Sunday)                      COSTA DEL SOL / FES
After breakfast, depart along the Costa del Sol to Algeciras or Tarifa. Board the Ferry and cross the strait of Gibraltar to Africa and arrive in Morocco. Disembark and pass through customs, continue by coach via Larache to Fes, the most ancient of the Imperial cities. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 7 (Monday)                     FES
This morning after breakfast, take a city tour of Fes, the most ancient of the Imperial Cities of Morocco, visiting the more interesting points of the city: the 7 gates of the Royal Palace, the Jewish Quarter or Mellah, the Gate of Bab Jelous and a walking tour of the “Medina” (Old City), declared a World Heritage site. Afternoon at leisure to explore on your own. Dinner and accommodation. Evening Optional: Enjoy a dinner and show.
Day 8 (Tuesday)                    FES / MEKNES / MARRAKECH
Breakfast and then drive to the ancient walled city of Meknes, an imperial city located in the heart of the Mid-Atlas. Take a short panoramic tour to admire the great Bab Al Mansour Gate, the most beautiful and well-known monument in this city. Continue through the Mid-Atlas to Marrakech. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 9 (Wednesday)               MARRAKECH
Today, after breakfast, take a city tour including the Koutoubia Tower, twin tower of the Giralda in Seville, Saadines Tombs and Bay Palace and Djemaa El Fna Square, packed with fortune tellers, snake tamers, acrobats, dancers etc. Dinner and accommodation. Return to the hotel, free time. Dinner and accommodation. Evening Optional: Dinner and show at the Chez Ali Fanatasia.
Day 10 (Thursday)                 MARRAKECH / CASABLANCA / RABAT
This morning, after breakfast depart Marrakech via Benguerir and Settat towards Casablanca, the business capital of the country. Take a short panoramic tour through the most interesting sections of the city. This afternoon continue to Rabat, the diplomatic and administrative capital, and official residence for King Mohamed VI. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 11 (Friday)                      RABAT / LARACHE / TANGIER
Today, after breakfast take a city tour of Rabat including the Royal Palace from the outside, Mohamed V Mausoleum and the unfinished Hassan Tower. In the afternoon depart via Larache to Tangier, upon arrival enjoy a short panoramic tour. Time at leisure. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 12 (Saturday)                  TANGIER / COSTA DEL SOL
After breakfast, transfer to the pier and board the ferry to return to Spain. Continue to Costa del Sol. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 13 (Sunday)                    COSTA DEL SOL / GRANADA
Depart after breakfast for Granada, a glorious city immortalised in song and verse, overlooked by the majestic snow covered Sierra Nevadas. Visit the Alhambra and Generalife Gardens, the last stronghold of the Moorish Kingdoms up to 1492, an amazing monumental environment. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and accommodation. Evening Optional: Attend a typical show of gipsy flamenco.
Day 14 (Monday)                   GRANADA / TOLEDO / MADRID
This morning, after breakfast travel to the Imperial city of Toledo, a national monument of Spain, where the cultures and great religions of Spain (Christian, Moorish, Judaism) have left behind a legacy. Enjoy a short guided tour of this historical old town through its narrow streets. Then visit the famous “Damasquinado” (gold and silver inlaying in iron) workshop. Continue to Madrid. Accommodation.
Day 15 (Tuesday)                  DEPART MADRID
After breakfast; transfer to Madrid airport. END OF TOUR.
