2018 Itinerary:
Day 1 (Monday):                    ARRIVE BARCELONA
Barcelona airport arrival transfer to your hotel for 2 nights’ accommodation. Your day is free (perhaps pre-book an optional evening Tapas Tour or Sagrada Familia Fast Track Tour).
Day 2 (Tuesday)                    BARCELONA
After breakfast a City Highlights tour of Barcelona well known worldwide for the Olympic Games during 1992, Barcelona is known as the capital of Modernism and the place where famous architect Antoni Gaudí lived. Unforgettable way to get to know the city with a sightseeing tour, as well as from above with the Montjuic aerial tramway, which offers incredible views, a visit to the renowned Poble Espanyol, and finally a chance to lose yourself in the streets of the Gothic Quarter with a pleasant stroll. Afternoon at leisure to discover this amazing city. Accommodation.
Day 3 (Wednesday):             BARCELONA / MADRID (train)
After breakfast transfer Barcelona Sants train station for your 0900 AVE (high speed) train to Madrid. Transfer from Madrid Atocha train station to your hotel. Your afternoon is at leisure. Accommodation.
Day 4 (Thursday)                   MADRID / CORDOBA / SEVILLE
After breakfast transfer to the Julia Bus Terminal (Plaza de Oriente)depart at 0830. Drive along the land of Don Quixote “The Man from La Mancha” to Cordoba, one of the oldest and most historic cities in Spain, take a city tour including the impressive Mosque and Jewish Quarter and then continue to Seville. A wonderful city, regarded by some as the romantic capital of Andalucía, visitors can understand why this city is the setting for the Operas Carmen, Don Juan & Figaro as well as being the home of the fiery flamenco; they feel it in the narrow streets, squares, courtyards and colourful patios of the Santa Cruz district. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 5 (Friday)                        SEVILLE
After breakfast take a Monumental and Panoramic city tour including the Cathedral (outside only), Santa Cruz Quarter and Maria Luisa Gardens. The afternoon is at leisure to explore the city, perhaps take a river cruise along the Guadalquir, or a visit to the pseudo reconstruction of Pontius Pilates House (Casa de Pilatos), which began in the 16th century and presents an interesting blend of mudejar, gothic and renaissance styles with its beautiful patio, elegant fountain and ornamental minerva statues. Dinner and accommodation. Optional Flamenco tour.
Day 6 (Saturday)                    SEVILLE / RONDA / COSTA DEL SOL
Following breakfast, travel the route of the white villages including a stopover in Ronda, located over a deep ravine cut into rock;time at leisure to admire the town of Celtic origin and the marvellous view of the valley and mountain range before continuing to the Costa del Sol. Your afternoon is at leisure. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 7 (Sunday)                      COSTA DEL SOL / FES
After breakfast depart along the Costa del Sol to Algeciras or Tarifa to board the Ferry to cross the strait of Gibraltar. Arrive into Morocco and disembark, continue onto Fes via Larache. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 8 (Monday)                     FES
After breakfast a city tour of Fes, the most ancient of the Imperial Cities of Morocco, visiting the more interesting points of the city: the Royal Palace, Christian and Jewish Quarter and the “Medina” (Old City), declared Patrimony of the Humanity. Afternoon is at leisure to explore on your own. Tonight enjoy an optional dinner and show. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 9 (Tuesday)                    FES / MEKNES / MARRAKECH
After breakfast depart for Marrakech. En route a short panoramic tour of ancient city of Meknes, with the great Mansour Gate, the most well-known monument of the city. Continue to Marrakech for dinner and accommodation.
Day 10 (Wednesday)             MARRAKECH
After breakfast visit of the south capital, which is located within an extensive oasis between the Atlas Mountains and the pre-deserted area, including the Koutoubia Tower, twin tower of the Giralda in Seville, Saadines Tombs, Bay Palace and Djemaa El Fna Square, which is packed with fortune tellers, snake tamers, acrobats, dancers etc. Afternoon is at leisure. Dinner and accommodation. Optional dinner and show at the Chez Ali Fanatasia.
Day 11 (Thursday)                 MARRAKECH / CASABLANCA / RABAT
After breakfast depart Marrakech, via Benguerir and Settat, towards Casablanca, the business capital of the country. Take a short panoramic tour through the most interesting sections of the city. Continue onto Rabat, the diplomatic and administrative capital, and official residence for King Mohamed VI. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 12 (Friday)                      RABAT / LARACHE / TANGIER
After breakfast a city tour of Rabat visit the most important sights including the Royal Palace (outside), Mohamed V Mausoleum and the Hassan Tower. Depart via Larache to Tangier, a short panoramic tour is included, then dinner and accommodation.
Day 13 (Saturday)                  TANGIER / COSTA DEL SOL
After breakfast free time and then transfer to the pier and board the ferry to return across the strait of Gibraltar back to Spain. Continue to Costa del Sol for dinner and accommodation.
Day 14 (Sunday)                    COSTA DEL SOL / GRANADA
Breakfast then depart for Granada for your visit of the Alhambra and Generalife Gardens, the last stronghold of the Moorish Kingdoms up to 1492, an amazing monumental environment. Dinner and accommodation. Optional Gipsy night tour.
Day 15 (Monday)                   GRANADA / TOLEDO / MADRID
Breakfast then depart for the Imperial City of Toledo (World Heritage city), where the three cultures of Spain (Christians, Moorish and Jewish) have lived together. Enjoy a tour of the most important city monuments, its narrow streets and the famous “Damasquinado” (gold and silver inlaying in iron). Continue to Madrid. Accommodation.
Day 16 (Tuesday)                 DEPART MADRID
Your tour package finishes after breakfast with a transfer to Madrid airport (depending on your departure time, perhaps pre-book an optional Prado “Skip the Line” Afternoon Tour).
