"Just over three decades ago saw the birth of what is today, the oldest tourist train in Spain: El Transcantábrico. Synonymous of elegance and comfort from its beginning, El Transcantábrico Clasico takes travellers back to the golden age of the great railway journeys, accompanied by all comforts and services of the 21st century.

Each route of El Transcantábrico Clásico combines the cuisine onboard with first class restaurants. The pleasure of travelling is also based on a careful balance between the train journey, the stay and the tours in the different stages en-route. While the train is parked at the station, the traveller could choose to go on the scheduled tour, stay on board or go out on their own to enjoy the city where we are."
