DAY 1 (Monday):                   MADRID / CORDOBA / SEVILLE
Depart from the Trapsatur Madrid Office / Bus Terminal at 8:00 am, travelling through La Mancha (Don Quixote Country) to Cordoba one of the oldest and most historic cities in Spain. Your sightseeing includes a visit to the magnificent 8th century Mezquita/Mosque/Cathedral and the historic Jewish quarter, with its narrow winding streets, decorated courtyards and patios of flowers.
Next is Seville, a wonderful city, regarded by some as the romantic capital of Andalucía. Visitors can understand why this city is the setting for the Operas Carmen, Don Juan and Figaro as well as being the home of the fiery flamenco; they feel it, in the narrow streets, squares, courtyards and colourful patios of the Santa Cruz district. Dinner and accommodation.

DAY 2 (Tuesday):                  SEVILLE
After breakfast a morning city tour visiting the Barrio de Santa Cruz with its narrow streets, the Park of Maria Luisa and Plaza de Espana, with panoramic sightseeing of the city.
Optional Artistic tour including the Royal Alcazar Palace.
An afternoon at leisure to explore the city, perhaps a river cruise along the Guadalquir or a visit to the pseudo reconstruction of Pontius Pilates House (Casa de Pilatos), which began in the 16th century, and presents an interesting blend of mudejar, gothic and renaissance styles with its beautiful patio and gallery, elegant fountain and ornamental minerva statues. Dinner and accommodation.

DAY 3 (Wednesday):            SEVILLE / GRANADA
Following breakfast drive east through the heart of Andalucía to Granada, the final stronghold of the Moorish Kingdom in 1492. A glorious city immortalised in song and verse, overlooked by the majestic snow covered Sierra Nevadas. Enjoy a sightseeing tour visiting the Alhambra with its beautiful Nazari Palaces and the Generalife Gardens, which showcases Moorish palaces and towers and gardens, including terraces, pools and fountains in an incomparable setting – the Alhambra is special.
Optional visit to the caves of Sacromonte and attend a typical gipsy flamenco show.
Dinner and accommodation.

DAY 4 (Thursday):                GRANADA / VALENCIA
Breakfast before your departure toward the Mediterranean, travel via Guadix, Baza and Puerto Lumbreras to the coastal city of Valencia. Accommodation.

DAY 5 (Friday):                      VALENCIA / BARCELONA
Breakfast followed by free time before travelling onto the spectacular Barcelona, with the tree lined Ramblas Boulevard filled with cafes, bars, street performers and flower-stalls packed both day and night, to the historic gothic quarter and its wealth of medieval architecture, the Spanish Village, Montjuic and the 1992 Olympic Stadium. A city of stunning contrasts from Gaudi’s Art Nouveau architecture found in the unfinished Sagrada Familia Cathedral, to his Modernista architecture and famous Parc Guell where clearly this great artist let his imagination run free. Barcelona should not be missed by any visitor to Spain. The rest of your day is free. Accommodation.

DAY 6 (Saturday):                 BARCELONA
Breakfast followed by a morning city sightseeing tour of the capital of Catalonia, where Gaudi, Picasso and Dali have all lived and worked. Modern Architecture, Historical buildings, the Gothic Quarter, the 1992 Olympics and much more contribute to making Barcelona a memorable city that is waiting to be explored on your afternoon at leisure.

DAY 7 (Sunday):                    BARCELONA / ZARAGOZA / MADRID
Breakfast and then depart for Zaragoza, Capital city of Aragon. Your stopover includes free time, before returning to Madrid. (Alternatively you may prefer to finish your tour in Barcelona after breakfast.)
