2020 Itinerary:

Day 1 (Saturday)                   ISTANBUL

Upon your arrival, you will be met by our representative before being transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at your own leisure.
 

Day 2 (Sunday)                      ISTANBUL

After breakfast at the hotel, a guided tour including Topkapi Palace, St. Sophia, Blue Mosque and the Spice Market. The day ends with an overnight stay in Istanbul. (B)
 

Day 3 (Monday)                     ISTANBUL / CANAKKALE

After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Gallipoli and visit Anzac Cove, the Nek, Chunuk Bair, Lone Pine and 57th regiment memorial, cross the Dardanelles. Overnight stay in Canakkale. (B,D)
 

Day 4 (Tuesday)                    CANAKKALE / TROY / PERGAMON / KUSADASI

After breakfast drive to Troy, the site where the legendary Trojan War took place. Crossing the mountain Ida, we arrive at Pergamon and visit Acropolis. Overnight stay in Kusadasi. (B,D)
 

Day 5 (Wednesday)               KUSADASI / EPHESUS / SIRINCE / KUSADASI

After breakfast, a short drive to visit Ephesus. We will have the opportunity to discover and understand the rich history behind local handicrafts like hand-made carpets and leather. We continue to marvellous village of Sirince where you are able to experience one of the most beautiful villages in Turkey. You may be able to shop and taste delicious wines of the village. Return to Kusadasi for overnight stay. (B,D)
 

Day 6 (Thursday)                  KUSADASI / HIERAPOLIS / PAMUKKALE

After breakfast drive through the meander plain and cotton farms, arrive at Pamukkale, time to enjoy the beautiful lime cascades and visit ancient Hierapolis. Overnight stay Pamukkale. (B,D)
 

Day 7 (Friday)                        PAMUKKALE / KOYCEGIZ / FETHIYE

After breakfast we drive to the lakeside town of Koycegiz. Here we take a boat cruise to turtle beach and smother ourselves in mud at a local mud-bath. Continue to Fethiye for dinner and overnight. (B,D)
 

Day 8 (Saturday)                   FETHIYE / GREEK KAYAKOY / OLUDENIZ / FETHIYE

Today explore the quaint Greek village of Kayakoy. This afternoon drive to Oludeniz, perhaps enjoy a swim before returning to Fethiye for overnight. (B)
 

Day 9 (Sunday)                      FETHIYE / ANTALYA

After breakfast drive to Demre to take a boat to visit sunken city of Kekova (if the weather conditions do not permit this tour, instead visit St. Nicholas Church). After the boat trip continue to Antalya. Dinner at your hotel and overnight Antalya. (B,D)
 

Day 10 (Monday)                   ANTALYA (ASPENDOS) / KONYA / CAPPADOCIA

After breakfast an early departure for Konya, an en-route stop at Aspendos to see the ancient theatre and at the scenic Tinaztepe sink hole and cave. Upon arrival to Konya, we tour the monastery of the Mervlana Whirling Dervishes. Then have an afternoon drive to Cappadocia via Seljuk- a fine example of an ancient Silk Road caravanserai. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia. (B,D)
 

Day 11 (Tuesday)                  CAPPADOCIA

After breakfast full day excursion in Cappadocia including visits to the Kaymakli Underground City, Open Air Museum in Goreme and natural fortress in Uchisar. An optional and fun Turkish folklore evening is available tonight. Overnight in Cappadocia. (B)
 

Day 12 (Wednesday)            CAPPADOCIA / ANKARA / SAFRANBOLU

Early Morning Optional: Balloon tour is available. Morning departure for Safranbolu. On the way stop in Ankara and visit the Mausoleum of Ataturk and its Museum in Ankara. This is the burial place of the national hero who founded modern Republic of Turkey. We continue our drive and check in to our Safranbolu, the UNESCO World Heritage town, which is considered as an open air museum. Tonight we stay at an old ottoman mansion. (B,D)
 

Day 13 (Thursday)                SAFRANBOLU / ISTANBUL / TRABZON

After breakfast visit the old town of Safranbolu where you can test a fine sample of Turkish delights then continue to drive to Istanbul afternoon visit of the Grand Bazaar. Tonight fly to Trabzon for overnight. (B)
 

Day 14 (Friday)                      SUMELA MONASTERY

After breakfast tour the Sumela Monastery which is nestled into the side of rocks in a famous valley in Macka. Overnight in Trabzon. (BD)
 

Day 15 (Saturday)                 TRABZON / ISTANBUL

After breakfast fly to Istanbul with afternoon at leisure. Overnight Istanbul. (B)
 

Day 16 (Sunday)                    ISTANBUL

After breakfast transfer to airport. END OF TOUR. (B)
