2016 Itinerary:
Day 1 Sun:     Arrival in Istanbul
You will be met at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Overnight and welcome briefing.
Day 2 Mon:      Istanbul
Half day sightseeing tour of St Sophia and Hippodrome.
Afternoon optional: Bosphorus cruise and spice market. (B)
Day 3 Tue:     Istanbul
Morning visit of Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque and Grand Bazaar. Evening optional: Tonight join our Turkish dinner and enjoy belly and folk dancing entertainment. (B)
Day 4 Wed:     Gallipoli & Troy – Assos
Morning departure for Gallipoli for your visit to Anzac Cove, Lone Pine cemetery, and Chunuk Bair. Before crossing the Dardanelles visit Suvla Vineyard, and wine cellar to taste Turkish wines then cross the Dardanelles to Canakkale visiting Troy. Drive to Yesilyurt for dinner and overnight. (B, D)
Day 5 Thu:        Izmir via Pergamon
Morning drive through olive groves with a stop at an olive museum. Then see an ethnographical museum in Tahta Kuslar (wooden birds) village. Enjoy lunch in a traditional local village. The last stop of day will be a tour of the ancient Medical Centre Asclepion in Pergamum and continue to Izmir for overnight. (B, L, D)
Day 6 Fri:       Ephesus & Virgin Mary’s House
Tour the famous ruins of Ephesus, an important cultural centre of the ancient world, and explore 2,000 year-old marble streets, a theatre, the Library of Celsius, a gymnasium and Hadrian’s Temple. Take a short drive to see St. Mary’s stone cottage where it is believed Virgin Mary spent her last years accompanied by St. John. Continue to a regional rug production centre to have a firsthand experience of this unique art form. Afternoon optional: tour of Sirince. Overnight in Izmir.(B, D)
Day 7 Sat:     Izmir – Ankara – Cappadocia
Late morning flight to Anakara. Lunch at a local restaurant, then visit the Anatolian Civilization Museum. Drive to Cappadocia, enjoy your arrival in the “moon-like” landscape. Overnight Cappadocia. (B, L, D)
Day 8 Sun:     Cappadocia
Early Morning Optional: Balloon Tour. Experience floating through volcanic valleys, fairy chimneys and sunrise in Cappadocia. Enjoy breakfast in a village house. Then visit Goreme, a historical region of Turkey, located among the rock formations, first settled in Roman times.Tonight Optional:Whirling Dervishes performance in an authentic cave setting.Tonight enjoy dinner in a traditional Cappadocia restaurant. Overnight in Cappadocia. (B, D)
Day 9 Mon:      Cappadocia – Antalya
After breakfast visit the underground city of Saratli. Continue to Antalya through the Taurus Mountains and visit Aspendos, the roman city, then onto Perge. Lunch is included today and will be in a village restaurant. Overnight in Antalya. (B, L, D)
Day 10 Tue:   Antalya
A free day on the Mediterranean. Optional:tour to the Archaeological Museum of Antalya combined with a cruise on the old Roman yacht harbour. Overnight in Antalya. (B, D)
Day 11 Wed:   Myra – Kalkan
Morning drive to Myra, to visit the church of St. Nicholas (the original Santa Claus). Overnight in Kalkan. (B, D)
Day 12 Thu:      Kalkan – Fethiye
Morning drive to Fethiye, visit the Lycian tombs. In the afternoon transfer to Dalaman airport or join the “Blue Cruise” 4 day extension. (B)

Blue Cruise Optional Extension

Day 12 Thu:      Kalkan – Fethiye – Cruise
Depart early for Fethiye to board a gulet at 9:30am. Spend the afternoon visiting beautiful islands and finally hoist near Göcek Island. Following lunch and a swimming break, cruise to Yassica Island to spend the night and cherish the wonderful scenery. (B,L,D)
Day 13 Fri:     Bedri Rahmi Bay – Domuz Island – Aga Limani
After breakfast, cruise to Bedri Rahmi Bay named after the famous Turkish artist who set voyage on one of the first ‘blue cruises’ in Turkey. Continue to Domuz Island for a swim and anchor in Aga Limani for dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)
Day 14 Sat:   Kumlubük – Cennet Island – Marmaris
Depart early and enjoy breakfast in Kumlubük Bay. Anchor at Cennet Island for our last swimming break and lunch. Proceed to Marmaris Harbor by 4:00pm. Overnight stay in Marmaris. Guests wishing to see more of Marmaris are recommended to go to the city center and experience the lively nightlife. (B,L,D)
Day 15 Sun:   Marmaris
Leave the boat and transfer to the Dalaman Airport. (B)
4 day / 3 night blue cruise extension:
May, June, September, October: $860 per person, twin share, tourist class gulet
July, August: $1190 per person, twin share, tourist class gulet
