2020 Itinerary:

Day 1 (Sunday)                      ARRIVE MADRID

Meet and greet at Madrid airport, transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 2 (Monday)                     MADRID

Sunshine, art, culture, attitude. Madrid is energy, fun and a city with a unique heart. Join a walking tour around the famous Austrias Quarter. Discover La Latina, Plaza Mayor and the Royal Palace. Lunch and afternoon will be at your leisure. This evening enjoy a welcome dinner to meet your fellow travellers. (BD)

Day 3 (Tuesday)                    MADRID / TOLEDO / MADRID

Today, you choose your experience:
-        Visit Toledo: Discover one of the oldest cities in the World, known as the “City of the Three Cultures” for the cultural influences of Christians, Muslims and Jews, Toledo has great artistic beauty and buildings in various styles including Arabian, Gothic, Mudejar, Renaissance and Baroque. In the 16th century it was residence of the great painter El Greco.
-        Madrid cooking class: Extend your culinary experience in Madrid by visiting its local markets and joining a cooking class.
The rest of the day is at your leisure to discover Madrid. (BL)

Day 4 (Wednesday)               MADRID / SEVILLE

Today bound for Seville, we’ll take the high speed train from Madrid “Atocha” train station. Don´t worry about your luggage, it´ll be taken to your next hotel. Once in Seville, join a walking tour before tasting Andalusian tapas for dinner. (BD)

Day 5 (Thursday)                  SEVILLE

Seville shines with southern European elegance. Visit its architectural treasures such as the Cathedral, Alcázar and Torre del Oro. Join a cruise along the Rio Guadalquivir. The afternoon is at your leisure. (B)

Day 6 (Friday)                        SEVILLE / JEREZ DE LA FRONTERA / SANCTI PETRI, CADIZ

We farewell Seville and travel deeper into Andalusia the province of Cadiz. Stop by Jerez de la Frontera, home to Spanish Sherry. Taste the character of Vino de Jerez and Jamón Ibérico before heading to your next destination, Sancti Petri. Gran Meliá Sancti Petri will be your home for the next 2 nights. An elegant Andalusian Palace next to one of the most beautiful beaches in Spain. Evening at your leisure. (BL)

Day 7 (Saturday)                   DAY TRIP TO EL PUERTO DE SANTA MARIA & CADIZ TOWN

El Puerto de Santa Maria sits between Rio Guadalete and the Atlantic Ocean. A beautiful white washed village full of passion and yummy fresh fish. Stroll along El Puerto´s beautiful streets and taste the Vino Fino. Lunch is at your leisure. We suggest La Ribera del Marisco or Seafood Ribiera, a street full of fresh seafood terraces just in front of Rio Guadalete. Later take a local boat and cross to Cadiz Town. Return to Sancti Petri. Evening at your leisure. Tonight, you might choose from any of the 5 restaurants at your hotel. (B)

Day 8 (Sunday)                      SANCTI PETRI / RONDA / MALAGA

Our journey across Andalusia continues towards Malaga. On our way we will stop in Ronda. Ronda retains much of its historic charm, particularly in its old town. It is famous worldwide for its dramatic escarpments and views, and for the deep El Tajo gorge. Take a look at the 18th century Puente Nuevo 'new' bridge, which straddles the 100m chasm below, before taking in the views from the Alameda out over the Serranía de Ronda mountains. Continue to Malaga, home to Picasso and door to the Mediterranean. (BD)

Day 9 (Monday)                     MALAGA / GRANADA

In Málaga, we won't miss the Pablo Ruíz Picasso Foundation Birthplace Museum, where you can discover more than 230 works by the painter. After time at leisure for lunch, we continue to Granada, home to La Alhambra. Join a walking tour along the charming Albaizin, an old quarter of narrow streets and beautiful white washed houses. Dinner will be at Templo del Flamenco, without a doubt, the most authentic cave to enjoy real flamenco in Granada. (BD)

Day 10 (Tuesday)                  GRANADA

Today, visit La Alhambra. The name Alhambra comes from Arabic origin which means "red or crimson castle", perhaps due to the hue of the towers and walls that surround the entire hill of La Sabica which by starlight is silver but by sunlight is transformed into gold. The afternoon will be at your leisure. Dinner will be at Juan Ranas, with an incredible setting on the hills of Albaizin and spectacular views to the Alhambra. (BD)

Day 11 (Wednesday)             GRANADA / JAEN / UBEDA

We farewell Granada and continue through Southern Spain, immersing ourselves in olive oil land, with seemingly endless Olive groves. Stop in Jaen, known for its olive oil production and medieval Santa Catalina castle. Continue to Ubeda, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where we’ll stay at the famous Parador for the next 2 nights. Day 12 (Thursday)                UBEDA / BAEZA / UBEDA

Today enjoy a walk through the wonderful olive groves; discover the secrets of the oil mill and learn how to taste the oil. In the evening start a very special guided tour of Úbeda, explore aspects of this city that only the night showcases. Finish at one of the most important restaurants in the province to taste some of the special recipes of Jaen. (BD)

Day 13 (Friday)                      UBEDA / ALCALA DEL JUCAR / VALENCIA

We farewell Andalusia and cross Castilla bound for Valencia. On the way we will visit Alcala del Jucar, located on a steep hillside overlooking the Júcar river and its dramatic gorge. Its narrow and steep streets that climb towards the Castle and its typical cave houses, make Alcalá del Júcara unique. Continue to Valencia. Evening at your leisure. (B)

Day 14 (Saturday)                 VALENCIA

Today discover the historic centre of Valencia. An important part of Valencia´s culture is the gastronomy, being home to most well-known international Spanish dish, Paella. Lunch today is a hands-on paella cooking experience with paring wines. The rest of the afternoon is at your leisure. (BL)

Day 15 (Sunday)                    VALENCIA / TARRAGONA / BARCELONA

Today, continue along the Spanish Mediterranean coast bound for the vanguard city of Barcelona. A quick stop in Tarragona to visit of the impressive Amphitheatre Romà, a 2nd-century arena facing the Mediterranean Sea. Once in Barcelona, check-in to our centrally located hotel. Tonight, enjoy a farewell dinner. (BD)

Day 16 (Monday)                   DEPART BARCELONA

Farewell Barcelona and your fellow travellers. After breakfast you´ll be transferred to the airport. (B)
