El Expreso de La Robla was born with the idea of offering all the charm and comfort of classic rail travel at affordable prices. Prepare yourself for a six-day journey along the Camino de Santiago, combining walking stages with visits and excursions until you get to the long-awaited Compostela.

Day 1 (Wednesday)               Oviedo – Viveiro

Baggage pick-up from 1900-2000 at Oviedo station. At 2000 welcome toast on board the train, presentation of the crew and accommodation. Catering dinner on board, while the train heads for Galicia. Night as the train rolls by to Viveiro.

Day 2 (Thursday)                   Viveiro

Early arrival in Viveiro. We start the morning as every day enjoying a delicious breakfast buffet. After breakfast transfer to Ferrol by coach for the pilgrims who wish to walk the first stage; Ferrol – Pontedeume (26km). For those who do not want to walk, go by coach to the northernmost point of the Iberian Peninsula, the Estaca de Bares cape, later visiting the Beach of Bares and O Barqueiro, with free time for lunch. In the afternoon, transfer of the visitors to the train, on the other hand, pick up the walkers in Pontedeume to return to Viveiro. Free time for dinner and night on board in Viveiro.

Day 3 (Friday)                         Viveiro – Ortigueira

As we have breakfast the train will move to Ortigueira. Travel from here by coach to Pontedeume where the pilgrims will start their second stage to Abegondo (31km). Visitors will make a tour to the Sanctuary of San Andrés de Teixido and Cedeira, with free time for lunch. In the afternoon, transfer of the visitors to the train and pick up the walkers in Abegondo to return to Ortigueira. Free time for dinner and night in Ortigueira.

Day 4 (Saturday)                    Ortigueira – Ferrol

While having breakfast the train will travel to Ferrol, then the coach will bring the pilgrims to the starting point of the third stage: Abegondo – A Calle (25km). The rest of the guests will approach A Coruña on the bus where we will spend the morning, enjoying a free time for the lunch. In the afternoon, return to the train in Ferrol. Tonight we will have dinner together at a typical Pulpería (Octopus). Overnight in Ferrol.

Day 5 (Sunday)                      Ferrol – Santiago de Compostela – Oviedo

After breakfast on board, transfer the pilgrims by coach to A Calle, the beginning of the fourth and final stage, which will allow them to reach Santiago de Compostela (27km). Once in Santiago you will have free time until the afternoon. The rest of the guests will departure by coach from Ferrol to Santiago de Compostela. Free time in Santiago. By late afternoon, pilgrims and tourists will return to the train in Ferrol. Enjoy dinner on board (catering) while the train departs for Oviedo. Overnight on board while moving.

Day 6 (Monday)                      Oviedo

Early arrival of the train in Oviedo. Breakfast on board and farewell to the crew and the train, ending the journey around 1100.
