Jordan Sample Tour Itineraries

All our Jordan programs are private and can operate on any dates to any places in any order for any number of participants. Prices are individually assessed according to tour length, number of participants, standard of accommodation, time of year, number of guide days, meals included etc. Ask us for a quote!

OPTION 1 – 6 day, 5 night

Day 1           Meet and assist transfer QAIA Airport to hotel in Madaba

2 nights double, bed and breakfast.

Day 2           With car and English speaking driver, see Madaba, Mt Nebo and Amman

Day 3           After breakfast visit Kerak following the Kings Highway. Continue via Little Petra. 2 nights double.

Day 4           Walking tour of Petra including English-speaking guide and entry fees.

Day 5           After breakfast, leave for Wadi Rum. 4 hour 4 wheel drive tour of area.

Continue to the Dead Sea for afternoon/evening at leisure. 1 night double, bed and breakfast.

Day 6           After breakfast visit Bethany reputed site of John’s baptism, the Roman site of Jerash (with local guide) then return to Amman or Madaba for dinner (cost not included) prior to departure transfer to QAIA for outbound flight. departing 0130.

Includes:        5 nights double accommodation on bed and breakfast basis, transfers from/to Queen Alia International Airport, English-speaking driver in modern vehicle, local English-speaking guides at Jerash and Petra, entry fees to sites and Dead Sea Spa.

Excludes:       Other meals, tips to guides and driver

OPTION 2 – 5 day, 4 night

Day 1              Obtain Jordan visa on arrival. Meet and assist by English speaking driver. Amman city                              and Jerash (English speaking local guide) tours then back to Amman for two nights.

Day 2              After breakfast, visit Madaba, Mt. Nebo and Bethany then back to Amman for overnight.

Day 3              After breakfast depart for Kerak then Wadi Rum for 4 wheel drive jeep tour of 3-4 hours. Afterwards continue to Petra for one night double, bed and breakfast.

Day 4              After breakfast Petra tour with guide and horses for first part then Dead Sea for overnight.

Day 5              After breakfast, leisure till noon then transfer to QAIA Amman Airport for departure.

Includes:        Meet and assist on arrival and departure, accommodation as mentioned above on bed and breakfast basis, transport by air-conditioned modern car with English speaking driver, drinking water in car, entrance fees to all sites, local guide in Jerash, local guide and horses in Petra, 4WD jeep tour at Wadi Rum.

Excludes:       Visa fees, driver and guide tips, other meals, personal expenses

OPTION 3 – 8 day, 7 night

Day 1           Meet and assist arrival transfer to Madaba. 1 night, bed and breakfast.

Day 2           Sightseeing with English speaking driver in modern air-conditioned minibus of Madaba, Mt Nebo and Kerak en route to Petra via King Highway. 2 nights Petra.

Optional ‘Petra by Candlelight’ (pay locally 12JOD each if operating)

Day 3           Full day sightseeing Petra with guide and horses to the Siq and Little Petra.

Day 4           Wadi Rum 4 wheel drive jeep tour for approximately 4 hours. Optional camel ride. Overnight in large 4 person tent Jabal Rum Camp.

Day 5           Continue to Dana Nature Reserve with guide. 1 night bed & breakfast,  Dead Sea.

Day 6           Leisure at Dead Sea until about midday. Afternoon visits to Bethany and Jerash with guide

Day 7           Morning Amman city tour. Afternon visit to Azraq, Amra and Kharaneh desert castles. If there is time and it is open, visit Shoumari Wildlife Reserve. Dinner then transfer to Golden Tulip Airport Hotel, Queen Alia International Airport.

Day 8           Hotel will provide early morning transfer to flight.

Arrangements include:

– Meet and assist on arrival and departure.

– Transportation by air-conditioned modern minibus with an English speaking driver (same driver all tour)

– Entrance fees to all specified sites.

– Local guides in Petra, Dana and Jerash.

– Horse ride in Petra.

– 4WD jeep tour 4 hours approximately at Wadi Rum

– Dinner at Kan Zaman.

OPTION 4 – 16 day, 15 night

Day 1              Meet, assist and transfer QAIA Amman Airport to the hotel. 6 nights bed and breakfast

Day 2              After breakfast, full day sightseeing Madaba (Madaba, St George, Al Mukhut, Um- Al Rassas, and Mukawir).

Day 3              After breakfast, to the north visit Um Qais, Pella and back to Amman.

Day 4              After breakfast, visit Jerash, Ajloun and back to Amman.

Day 5              After breakfast, Desert Castles and back to Amman.

Day 6              After breakfast, full day Amman city tour, dinner and overnight.

Day 7              After breakfast, transfer to Mai’n Spa for leisure, dinner and overnight.

Day 8              After breakfast, leisure till noon, check out then to Madaba for dinner and overnight.

Day 9              After breakfast, via Wadi Mujib to visit Kerak then to Dana Reserve for overnight.

Day 10            After breakfast, half day guided walking tour in Dana Nature Reserve then to Little Petra (Beida ) then to Petra for dinner and 3 nights.

Day  11           After breakfast, full day guided tour in Petra, dinner and overnight.

Day 12            After breakfast, second visit to Petra without horse and guide. Back to hotel.

Day 13            After breakfast, transfer to Wadi Rum for 4 hour 4 wheel drive jeep tour 4 hours,

Dinner and overnight at Jabal Rum Camp (in a tent).

Day 14            After breakfast, transfer to Aqaba for a short visit, then via Arva to visit Bethany and to the Dead Sea for dinner and overnight at a spa hotel.

Day 15            After breakfast, leisure, dinner and overnight at a Dead Sea Spa (no car this day).

Day 16            After breakfast, pick from the hotel and transfer to QAIA Amman for departure.

Included:        Transport by modern airconditioned car with an English speaking driver; transfers from and to the airport; accommodation on bed and breakfast basis; dinners as mentioned; .       – English speaking guide for 5 days; local guides in Kerak, Dana, Petra (first day), Jerash; horse ride in Petra (first day only); 4 hour 4WD jeep tour Wadi Rum; entry fees  to sites.
